Occasionally I get an opportunity to build a new boat in a class I'm teaching, these boats are to spec., matching either the historic drawing or my design. I try to match these boats up with willing buyers beforehand but when the show up here they're a good deal, a new boat for hundreds less. It's not going to have all the bells and whistles of a custom boat (bow rub strip, bone fittings, end knob, thigh braces, ect.) but if you're remotely handy you can add that stuff in an afternoon.
