The Modern Skin on Frame Kayak
I founded Cape Falcon Kayak in 2002 with the goal of creating skin-on-frame kayaks that could compete in durability and performance with any other type of kayak. Using the brutal Oregon Coast as my laboratory, I spent over a decade testing traditional kayaks as well as my own designs in the most challenging conditions that sea kayakers face. The boats that showed promise went on to be refined through relentless iteration, eventually becoming the kayaks that we offer today.
You may never paddle your kayak into big surf or howling crosswinds, but if you do, it’s good to know that they can handle anything your skill level is ready for.
