Today I’m re-posting this great video made by Ant Mace of Shipshape Boatworks who builds our designs and many others in Bristol, England.
Right now Ant is building a skin on frame Adirondack guide boat which is always cool to watch come together. Seaworthy, beautiful, lightweight, and addictive to row, I’ve gotten many inquiries about these boats over the years but very few people follow through on building them because of the time and effort that it takes.
Fortunately Ant is a real wooden boat builder (unlike me) so he’s more than qualified for the task. If you’re in England and looking for a skin on frame building class or a custom boat, Ant is your guy. If you’re not following him already you should!
