I just put up a full trip report on the Cape Falcon Kayak YouTube channel about our first serious test of the new sailing catamaran system!
Some thing I haven’t mentioned yet is that we were dismasted the first day forcing us to camp on a postage-stamp sized island where I had to do significant repairs with nothing but a Leatherman!
The incident happened because I was deliberately massively overpowering the system but this is exactly why we do this kind of testing, it helped me to identify a weakness in the system that is easily fixed now that I know about it. Check out the video for the full story!
