As usual, don’t miss the music here! Pausing from the kayak build for a moment, Liz and I rallied the holiday spirit on Wednesday and MADE a Christmas tree out of boat building scraps. The base is leftover birch ply from rowing outriggers. The trunk is rejected oar shaft stock, and the branches are reject ribs from the challenging North Alaskan replica kayak build we did last year.
