Posting some of our favorite skin-on-frame photos while we build the tiny house (check out @actuallytiny).
This was the 2nd version of the Adirondack guideboat that I built two years after creating the first two originals. The only real changes was increasing the depth amidships from 11.5 to 14 inches deep, and bringing the ends down from 25 to 23 inches high. The result was a slightly less pretty but much more useable boat that left the hull shape identical. When I finally got to visit the Adirondack museum I saw similar historic boats. It’s always interesting to see how strongly the limited selection of available plans influences the modern revival of historic watercraft.
