It’s strange to be old enough now to have a real sense of the passage of time. I took this picture of my friends Ryc and Mona Over 10 years ago in their very first F1’s. In their 70s at the time (I think) both would go on to put thousands of miles on these kayaks, so much so that they actually wore them out and built new ones. (It takes about ten THOUSAND miles to kill a Cape Falcon Kayak) Ryc is gone now, but Mona is stronger in her kayak today than I am.
