Author (and friend) Harvey Golden spent 8 years surveying these kayaks and their associated artifacts in museums and private collections all over the world, ultimately compiling his efforts into this 585 page definitive work.
In addition to making an excellent laptop computer stand and a formidable weapon to vanquish the largest of spiders, this insanely comprehensive tome contains: 104 surveys of historic Greenland Kayaks, 79 paddle surveys, over 400 historic photos and illustrations, and a bunch of words.
