Video: Kicking off this year’s canoe building season

To kick off this year‘s Canoe building season, here’s a quick video of a pair of nesting Canoes that I shot last year.
.
As usual, I’ll be using this year’s builds to update any outdated portions of the online building course, then doing design work (read: wasting insane amounts of wood) to expand the system into new canoe shapes and sizes.
.
Specifically I’m hoping to build a solo single blade Canoe that I really love. So far I love the pack canoes and I like the solo single blade Canoes, but there’s just sort of this “oh baby!” feeling when a boat is just right. I’m hoping I’ll get there this year.
.
I don’t know why my phone keeps capitalizing Canoe, but I’m gonna go with it.
