A quick preview of the latest canoe

Just a quick preview of the Canoe I just finished building. I have so much to say about this latest canoe but unfortunately I’m pressed for time at the moment and I’m not going to be near the boat or my phone for at least a week so for now I’ll just share the basic dimensions and a few pictures:
.
13’10” long.
12.5” deep center.
16.5” deep bow.
15” deep stern.
2” continuous rocker.
29” Max beam.
28 gunwales.
26 waterline.
Hull: asymmetrical.
.
Ribs: white oak
Gunwales and stringers: Red Cedar
Keel: Port Orford Cedar
Frame oil: Tung, pine Tar, limonene
Outwales: Cherry
Stem Bands: Delrin
Skin: 9oz nylon
Coating: 5 coats 2 part poly
Color: 3 tsp cypress pigment
Seat: curved Northstar canoe seat
.
Frame weight 21.5 lbs
Finished weight complete: 31.5 lbs
.
Build time: about 35 hrs for me. Maybe 60 for a first time builder.
.
Paddling: fun, quick, versatile. I built this one with extra long seat hanging blocking so I can experiment with a huge range of seat positions for different conditions and different gear loads. From just a couple minute paddle I can tell that I’m going to learn a lot from this little boat! As always there’s things that I would immediately change back generally speaking it felt pretty nice.
.
Regrets: I always teeter back-and-forth between simplicity and aesthetics on the stem shape. Functionally there is nothing else that needs to happen to this boat but I have to admit that sheer blocks and re-curve Stems do look really cool! Not sure how I feel about the color either. Definitely not what I was hoping for looks kind of like a dead fish to me but it does have kind of a nice understated feeling. Very stealth. I’ll talk more about this in a few weeks when I get more time in it.
