Videos: Some footage and thoughts on the row/sail canoe

Took the canoe out for another quick row to check the rowing geometry before I start on version 2 tomorrow.
.
Overall, it’s a decent little rowboat. 15’6” long, 42 inches wide, 14.5 inches deep, 60 lbs. Not too much for one person to handle, but big enough for two people and a week of camping gear. A lightly framed boat but still tougher than a Kevlar canoe. Overall I’d say it’s a decent first effort.
.
I don’t have space for boats to pile up so this boat is now for sale with oars for a little over what I paid in materials cost. (I’m keeping the sail rig for the next version but it would literally take less than a day to reproduce it if you feel like doing some light sailing).
.
Cost $1500 cash, you pick up.
$2200 + shipping if I have to ship it.

Update: just sold it.
