West Greenland Kayak Build Time Lapse 6:  Adding foredeck stringers, cleaning up and oiling the frame.  Total build time so far, about 28 hours.

It’s pretty obvious what’s happening in this video but I will mention that the Masik (the wide deck beam at the front of the cockpit) to deck stringer joint is not traditional.  Originally the stringers would have sat on a lower deck beam directly forward of the Masik, but I find this particular arrangement to be so much more comfortable that is one of the few places that I’m willing to significantly deviate from the original framing.
