Lots of new plans and videos in development

For the last five months we’ve been working on a massive level up that includes: The new flat deck F1 plan, A flat deck LPB plan, about 15 new course videos for building those, two new sizes for the LPB, The kayak catamaran system, a new online store including a ton of new options for our kits, and instructions for planning for rudder control, drop skegs, and the sailing system so anyone who’s interested in adding those things in the future builds their frames correctly.
.
Generally I’m pretty good at focusing on individual projects but this latest push has been a bit of a brain melter because it’s forcing me to work on about a dozen major projects simultaneously and everything is interwoven so we can’t pull the trigger on any single part until everything is ready.
.
Our division of labor is: I design and build stuff creating huge piles of hand scribbled notes in the process. I also talk to the camera and answer questions from students and do the video editing and manage the social media side of things. Liz is the camera person, does all the color correction on the videos, designs all the plans, manages our store and non-building related customer questions, and administers our five different interwoven websites (store, course delivery platform, student builds blog, and main site). Most days we just work from when we wake up to around 9pm.
.
Actually finishing big updates like this is some sort of weird vortex. It’s like every time you cut the distance to the goal in half the actual amount of time it takes you to cut that in half again doubles. It’s like falling into a gravity well where the gravity gets weaker the closer you get to the ground. It’s surprising how much force of will is needed to keep grinding through all the punch items to get to the actual launch.
.
Almost there, hopefully!!
