Fellow boat builders and woodworkers: my friend Ben Deumling of Zena Forest Products has some of the nicest white oak logs we’ve ever seen right now. (make sure you look at the second video showing the cut boards) Ben owns a small sustainably harvested forest here in Oregon and is dedicated to finding the very best uses for their wood. Their primary product is high-quality sustainably harvested white oak flooring but the best of the best boards get diverted into bending Oak. Ben is willing to custom cut and ship anywhere in the US. Bending oak of this quality is extremely hard to find. If you know boat builders or others that could make use of this incredible wood please pass the word along.
