Unlike the double-paddle pack canoes I've been working on up to this point, these are both longer and wider - meaning taller gunwales, thicker ribs, and more stringers. It's a good opportunity to check the scalability of the build system I'm developing, and to address any problems - especially in the ribbing. That's the key to this project - the end goal is not a firm set of plans, but a building system with simple formulas that will allow you to build whatever size canoe you choose. .
