Waterlight Custom Floatbags was started by a former student of mine who was frustrated at not being able to get good bags for his own boat.
Alan and I have been working together for a over a year to design what I think is the perfect skin on frame kayak float bag. Heavy duty urethane-coated nylon with a separate gear and air chamber, and a bunch of little tweaks to solve many of my past float bag frustrations.
The coolest thing about these bags though is that they are made custom to fit your kayak. I’m not getting any kickback for promoting these, it’s just a product that I believe in and helped design to make skin on frame kayaking as safe as possible.
