Day 4, Skin-on-frame tandem canoe


Day 4) skin-on-frame tandem canoe, 6hrs.

Tied the stringers on today, and then burned the rest of the day filming new and replacement videos for the building course. I’m getting ready to release a major update next weeks so we are scrambling to get all the pieces in place.

One of the downsides of being a video-based instruction business and that all major changes to the system require time consuming re-shoots and re-edits. Combine this with the rapid advancement that comes with building a new boat every two weeks and just keeping the course current is a lot of work!  Sometimes I wish I was just a paper plans guy.

Made some nice curved stems which I may throw out and replace with slightly different curved stems in the morning.
